BURNEL HENDERSON WADE, III
Tupelo - BURNEL HENDERSON WADE, III, 69, died Wednesday, August 16, 2006, at North Mississippi Medical Center after an extended illness. A Lee County native, he was born May 22, 1937 to the late Burnel Henderson Wade, Jr. and Lurlene Creely Wade. He was retired from Kraft Foods. He served in the National Guard and was a member of the National Rifle Association. An avid deer hunter, he was a member of the Greenhill Hunting Club and the Toxish Hunting Club. He enjoyed watching old westerns and Nascar Racing. He was a member of Harrisburg Baptist Church.
Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at The Jefferson Street Chapel of W. E. Pegues with Rev. Dwain Ard officiating. Burial will be in Tupelo Memorial Park.
Survivors include his wife of 34 years, Brenda Edwards Wade of Tupelo; one daughter, Judy Wade Knott and husband, Michael, of Oklahoma City, OK; three sons, B.H. "Sonny" Wade, IV and wife, Joyce, of Oklahoma City, OK, Phil Wade and wife, Lisa, of Dallas, Tex., Keith Wade and wife, Amber, of Dorsey; three sisters, Martha Ann Logan and husband Tom, Dorothy Lamar and husband, William, and Virginia O'Callaghan, all of Tupelo; ten grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Larry Rickels, Eric Pissanos, Clay Lamar, Robert Brown, Brent Repult and Jimmy Malone.
Visitation will be 5 to 9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
