Buddy Wilson

Saltillo - William Ray "Buddy" Wilson, 63, died Thursday, July 23, 2015, at his home. He was born in Pontotoc on March 16, 1952, to Woodrow "Teeter" and Edna Chunn Wilson. He was employed for many years at Paine's Supply. His grandchildren were the light of his life. Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Monday, July 27, 2015, in Priceville Cemetery. W. E. Pegues Funeral Directors is in charge of the arrangements. Survivors include the mother of his children, Linda Wilson of Saltillo; two children, Shelly Strickland (Michael) of Saltillo and Marty Wilson of Tupelo; two grandchildren, Kaylee Strickland and Aidan Wilson; five siblings, James Wilson (Renate) of Pontotoc, his Twin, Linda "Sis" McMillen of Dorsey, Luci Moore (Tom) of Mooreville, George Wilson of Fulton and Boyce Wilson (Tammy) of Mooreville; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Bobby Wilson; and two sisters, Louise "Beese" Clark and Ruby Wilson. Pallbearers will be Wayne Butler, Phillip Poteet, Ronnie Moore, Tommy Moore, Danny Baldwyn, and his nephews. Visitation will be 4 until 8 p.m., Sunday, July 26, 2015, at W. E. Pegues, Tupelo.
