BRUCE H. GRESHAM, SR.
Tupelo - Bruce Howard Gresham, Sr., 87, passed away Saturday, December 5, 2015, at North Mississippi Medical Center. He was born in Skeen, Mississippi on October 26, 1928. Bruce was a successful businessman as a CEO of advertising in communications and owned multiple businesses. He was an accomplished drummer from the age of 14. He was a veteran of the United States Navy, an active member of the Delta State Alumini and Amvets. He was also very active in raising funds and awareness for cerebral palsy, prostate and breast cancer.
Services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, December 9, 2015 at the Jefferson Street Chapel of W. E. Pegues with Rev. Jay Stanley officiating with a reception to follow.
Survivors include his wife Josephine Fowler Gresham of Tupelo; children, Lynn Gresham Fisher (Tom) of Tampa, Fla., Bruce Gresham, Jr. (Sandi) of The Woodlands, Tex., Dwayne Kelly of Greenwood, Pam Kelly of Tupelo and Barry Kelly (Dawn) of Milton, Fla.; grandchildren, Jennifer Harbor (Jim), Courtney Cook (Jake), Lisa Reilly, Reid Gresham (Anna Kathryn), Franklin Read Kelly, Ashley Walker, Sydney Walker and Josephine Kelly; sister-in-law, Betty Gresham of Oxford.
Special thanks to: Dr. Vernon Rayford and his staff, North Mississippi Home Health Services, the Staff at Cedars Rehabilitation, the staff of Fred's Pharmacy, Dr. Bobby Elliot and his caregivers, Martha and Danny Tipton.
He was preceded in death by his parents, first wife, Peggy Gresham and two brothers, Benny and John K. “Buddy” Gresham.
Visitation will be 1 - 2 p.m. Wednesday, December 9, 2015 at W. E. Pegues, Tupelo.
