Fulton - Fulton Eugene Lindsey, 75, passed away Saturday, January 19, 2019, at the Hospice Unit of North Mississippi Medical Center. On January 17, 1944, he was born to Elvie Reid Lindsey and Timey O.V. Cossey Lindsey in Pontotoc County. Bro. Lindsey attended Southeastern Baptist College with an Associate Degree in Christian Ministry. His last employment was with New Directions Prison Ministries where he served as Executive Director for 22 years. Bro. Lindsey had a fierce passion for sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ and did so through daily ministry and missionary work. He used this fierce passion as owner operator of F. Lindsey Enterprises throughout his service to the Lord as he constructed numerous church buildings and roofs for many congregations, both locally and abroad. Bro. Fulton was in the ministry for 58 years and will be sorely missed. He enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren and share his love for Christ and the ministry with them all. He was a current member of Hopewell Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife of 15 years, Sharon Warren Lindsey of Fulton; two daughters, Paulette Koepp and her husband Greg of Pagosa Springs, Colorado and Pam Dusza and her husband Hugh of Ewa Beach, Hawaii; three sons, Duane Lindsey of Fulton, Tom Warren and his wife, Bobbie of Lake Village, Arkansas and Dwight Lindsey and his wife Lindsay of Laurel; 14 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; sisters, Mae Marino of Frankford, Illinois and Shelia McLaughlin of Atlanta, Georgia; brothers, Richard Lindsey of Mantachie, Dan Lindsey of Corinth and his wife, Cheryl of Corinth, Anthony Lindsey and his wife, Sheryl of Mooreville, and Ronald Lindsey and his wife, Sharon of Guntown; sister-in-law, Beverly Lindsey of Jackson; and numerous extended family.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Reid and Timey Lindsey; his first wife of 39 years, Frances "Joyce" Hester Lindsey; daughter, Lia Warren Alexander; and brother, Clifford Lindsey.
Visitation will be 11 a.m. until service time Monday, January 21, 2019 at W.E. Pegues, Tupelo.
Services honoring his life will be 1 p.m. Monday, January 21, 2019 at the Jefferson Street Chapel of W.E. Pegues with Rev. Matthew Hudson officiating. Graveside services will follow in Carey Springs Cemetery in Pontotoc.
Pallbearers will be Rob McCoy, Jason Farris, Josh Koepp, Jordan Cabato, Reid Lindsey and Brandon Lindsey.
Honorory pallbearers will be Phillip Lindsey and Matthew Koepp.
