Brann, as he was called by most, was born November 10, 1919 in Weakley County, TN to Charlie Sebern Brann and Lurene Atkins Brann. Bro. Brann was a member of the "Greatest Generation" of the highest order. He and his sister Sarah were raised in a loving Christian home during the Great Depression. He then began a ministry that included full time pastorates in Mt Pelia, TN, Greenfield, TN, Baldwyn, MS, Jackson, TN, Ashland, MS & Sharon, TN. Upon his retirement from the full time ministry, he moved to Tupelo, MS and began a service of over 30 interim pastorates around the area. He was an "old time" Baptist preacher. Bro Brann loved to crappie fish and work with antiques and furniture refinishing. He loved to join his friends for early morning coffee at Hardee's.
