BRENDA J. MCCORMICK Saltillo - Brenda Jean McCormick, 71, died Saturday, June 6, 2015, at North Mississippi Medical Center. A Lee County native, she was born July 19, 1943 to William Earl and Ethel Mae Witt Repult. Brenda enjoyed going to yard sales and flower gardening. She served as a waitress/hostess for years and was a long time Rex Plaza employee. She was Baptist in faith. A memorial service will be 6 p.m. Tuesday, June 9, 2015 at the Saltillo Chapel of W. E. Pegues with Dr. Randy Rinehart officiating. Burial will be in Tupelo Memorial Park. Survivors include one daughter, Jerrie Ann McCormick Michaels of Booneville; two sons, Richard McCormick (Eve) of Houston and Tracy Smith McCormick of Saltillo; a niece who was like her own daughter, Marguerite "Margie" Repult Goddard of Saltillo; one brother, Bobby Repult (Ann) of Mantachie; one sister, Penny Coleman (James) of Corinth and five grandchildren, Michael Holcomb of Belmont, Peyton McCormick of Saltillo, Bob McCormick of Hattiesburg, Karen Rawls (Mason) of Picayune and Davis Gage Tutor of Ecru. She was preceded in death by her parents, grandparents, James and Mary Witt; and one brother, Earl Wayne Repult; one sister, Noelene Philpot and one grandson, Trey Michaels. Visitation will be 5 until 6 p.m. Tuesday, June 9, 2015 at W. E. Pegues, Saltillo.
