Mooreville—Brandy Michelle Faulkner passed away Sunday, June 16 at her home in Mooreville. She was 35 years old. Brandy was born in Tupelo on March 5, 1989 to Richard Allen Faulkner and Sherry Ann Duckworth Faulkner. After her graduation from Mooreville High School she then attended Itwamba Community College and Mississippi State University where she earned two degrees in early childhood development and business administration. She was currently working for the Harrisburg Baptist Church Daycare where she taught children and also assisted with office work. Brandy had a tender heart when it came to children and touched many young lives every day. She was a talented artist, using her gift of painting to enrich and bless others. Brandy also had an eye for antique furniture and gave many pieces new life after her restorative touch. She loved animals and spending time with family and friends.

 Brandy leaves behind her fiancé Wess Stevens of Mooreville; her mother, Sherry Faulkner of Tupelo; Wess’ daughter, Candice Stevens; two uncles, Mike Duckworth of Tupelo and Terry Duckworth (Myra) of Saltillo; her aunt, Lisa Williams; and cousins, Bill Burt, Candace Armstrong, and Brandon Davis.

She was preceded in death by her father, Richard, and a brother, Donny.

 Visitation will be 5 until 7 p.m. Wednesday, June 19, 2024 at Pegues, Tupelo. Services honoring Brandy’s memory will be 2 p.m. Thursday, June 20, 2024 at the Jefferson Street Chapel of Pegues. Graveside services will follow at Andrews Chapel Cemetery.

 Pallbearers will be Wess Stevens, Mike Faulkner, Terry Faulkner, Chris Moses, and Tim Wicker.
