ALICEVILLE, ALABAMA, formerly of Tupelo, Mississippi - Brandi Nicole Bishop, 42 , passed away Thursday, November 22, 2018 as the result of an automobile accident.  She was born April 8, 1976 to Danny and Brenda Gayle Milam Williams in Tupelo, Mississippi.  On February 14, 1998, she married the love of her life, Brian Bishop. Brandi was a 1994 graduate of Tupelo High School and went on to pursue her undergraduate degree at the Mississippi State University, and graduated with a Masters Degree in political science from Georgetown University. She was the proud recipient of the James Madison Memorial Award while attending Georgetown University.  Brandi was an avid soccer fan and participated in successfully beginning the women's first soccer team for the Tupelo High School.  Her passion in life was to coach and be a mentor for all individuals she coached and/or taught.  Brandi enjoyed her career as an Instructional Coach with the Tuscaloosa County School District where she was chosen Teacher of the Year multiple times by her students. She will forever be remembered as a great mentor and for being known as "momma" when it came to her students as she went above and beyond for them. She was an exceptional colleague to her fellow teachers and staff as well, and will be sorely missed by all. Brandi loved the outdoors and spending time with her family as much as she could.  She loved cooking out, fishing, laying out in the sun, and riding four-wheelers with her husband and their dog, Mox.  She was a huge fan of Mississippi State University and loved her "Bulldawgs".  Brandi loved to cheer on her niece and nephew, Hallie and Jake, and made every effort to be at their games. Brandi leaves behind her beloved dog, Mox, who will surely miss her. She was a member of Aliceville Church of Christ.

Survivors include her husband of 20 years, Brian Bishop of Aliceville; parents, Danny and Brenda Williams of Aliceville; one sister, Dundee Donald and her husband, Tony, of Mooreville, Mississippi; a very special niece and nephew whom she considered as her own, Hallie Donald  and Jake Donald, both of Mooreville, Mississippi; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Andy and Theresa Bishop of Saltillo, Mississippi;  very special brother-in-law, Jeremy Bishop and his wife, Kristy, of Mooreville, Mississippi; step-grandmother, Ann Milam of Sparta, Tennessee; grandmother-in-law, Gertrude Scruggs of Tupelo, Mississippi; and her beloved German Sheppard, Mox.
