Bobby Stone

Saltillo- Bobby Joe Stone, 71, passed away Thursday, March 2, 2023 at his home. He was born in Baldwyn on July 22, 1951 to Loraine and J. B. Stone. The majority of his working life he was a skilled plumber. Bobby loved his family and spending time with his grandchildren.

Bobby is survived by his children, Leslie Kline and her husband, Eric, of Saltillo, Lonnie Stone and his wife, Sarahann, of Mooreville, Stacy Hussey and her husband, Matthew of Alabama, and B.J. Stone of Alabama; grandchildren, Rainer Kline, Novaleigh Stone, John Stone, Anna Stone, Serenity Stone, Emily Taylor and her husband, Rob, Ashley King and her husband, Tristan, Conner Stone, and Keeton Stone; great-grandchildren, Kase and Evie Stockton; brother, Doug Robert and his wife, Vel, of Arkansas; and two sisters, Peggy Hallmark of Saltillo, and Patricia Moore and her husband, Darrell, of Tennessee.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Loraine Stone Quigley; step-father, Lonnie Quigley; father, J. B. Stone; brother, Billy Stone; and the mother of his youngest children, Christine Rousch.

Visitation will be 11 a.m. until service time Saturday, March 4, 2023, at Pegues, Saltillo.

Services honoring Bobby’s life will be 1 p.m. Saturday, March 4, 2023, at the Saltillo Chapel of Pegues. Burial will follow at Asbury Cemetery in Baldwyn.

Pallbearers will be Wayne Holmes, Jimmy Dan Hendrix, Marty Hendrix, Chris Pannel, and Gary Montgomery.
