Brandon - Bobby Morgan, 66, died Friday, January 7, 2011, at River Region Medical Center in Vicksburg after a sudden illness. He was born in the Auburn Community on January 31, 1944 to Andrew Alden and Nancy Jane Gregory Morgan. Earlier in his life, he served in the Mississippi Army National Guard. He worked seventeen years at Lewis Grocer Co. as a retail counselor and later established the M&B Wholesale Company, a vending machine enterprise, serving the Jackson Metro area. He was a Baptist and an avid fisherman.

Services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, January 11, 2011 at The Jefferson Street Chapel of W. E. Pegues with Rev. Steve Hurt officiating. Burial will be in Tupelo Memorial Park.

Survivors include one daughter, Steffani Jenkins (David) of Jackson; two sons, Steven Morgan of Raymond and Michael Morgan of Brandon; one sister, Betty Perkins of Muscle Schoals, Alabama; two grandchildren, Dylan and Austin Jenkins; numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Diane Morgan on March 4, 1994; one sister, Ouida Easter; one brother, Billy Morgan.

Visitation will be 9 - 11 a.m. Tuesday, January 11, 2011 at the funeral home.
