Bobby " Chigger " Williams

November 15, 1950 — April 1, 2008

Houlka - Bobby Wayne "Chigger" Williams, 57, died Monday, March 31, 2008, at The North Mississippi Medical Center after an extended illness. A Lee County native, he was born November 15, 1950 to the late Bruce and Hazel R. Williams. He worked several years for the city of Tupelo in the Public Works Department. He was a member of East Heights Baptist Church.

Services will be 3:30 p.m. Wednesday at The Jefferson Street Chapel of W. E. Pegues with Rev. Wayne Cobb officiating. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery.

Survivors include the mother of his child, Judy Collums of Houlka; one daughter, Stacy Winter, of Houlka; four grandchildren, Bryce and Madisyn Winter, Shelby and Haley Vault; two sisters, Carlene Spearman of Pontotoc and Linda Bell of Tupelo; two brothers, John C. Williams and wife, Patty, of Randolph and Steve Williams and wife, Carol, of Bartlett, Tenn..

He was preceded in death by one daughter, Christy Vault.

Pallbearers will be Brian Spearman, D.L. Winter, Mike Bell, Jeff Parker, Jerry Richey, and Donnie Richey.

Visitation will continue Wednesday at the funeral home.
