Saltillo – Bobby Gene “Bobbo” Ratliff, Jr., 58, died Monday, November 19, 2018, at Traceway Nursing Home. He was born July 6, 1960, to Bobby G. and Betty Jo Hatcher Ratliff in Itawamba County. He was married for 28 years to Tracy Stacks Ratliff. Bobby proudly served his country for 12 years as a member of the United States Army National Guard. He later began a career in the truck driving industry as an independent over the road truck driver. He loved cooking and learning how to cook by watching several cooking channels. He also loved playing the Xbox and spending time with his family, friends and grandchildren. He was a member of Springhill Baptist Church where he served as head deacon.
Survivors include his wife of 28 years, Tracy Stacks Ratliff; daughters, Janice Jean Ratliff of Hamilton, Alabama, Ashley Ratliff of Saltillo, and Tiffany Ratliff Myhand of Saltillo; sons, Bobby J. Ratliff and his wife, Olivia, of Brandon, Thomas B. Ratliff and his wife, Erica, of Pontotoc, and Jonathan C. Ratliff and his wife, Catherine, of Saltillo; 19 grandchildren; his mother, Betty Jo Hatcher Ratliff of the Dorsey Community; and one brother, Matthew Wallace.
He was preceded in death by his father, Bobby G. Ratliff, Sr; and his sister, Bonnie Hubbard.
Visitation will be from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. Friday, November 23, 2018 at Springhill Baptist Church. W.E. Pegues Funeral Directors will be in charge of his arrangements.
Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday, November 24, 2018 at Springhill Baptist Church with Rev. Chris Stacks officiating. Burial will be in Campbelltown Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Bobby Ratliff, Thomas Ratliff, Brad Stacks, Cody Ratliff, Mark Bailey and T.J. Taylor.
Honorary pallbearers will be Charles Sutherland, Tim Jones, Keith Bass and Daniel Bass.
