REV. BOBBY LEE
Tupelo - Rev. Bobby Gerald Lee, 68, died Saturday, March 9, 2013, at a nursing home in Jackson, Mississippi. He was born in Franklin County on February 13, 1945 to Albert and Iris Lee. He graduated from Delta State University and attended New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. He taught school in Georgia and Mississippi and pastured churches in Georgia, Mississippi and Alabama. He will most be remembered for his dry sense of humor and that he saw God in places easily missed by many.
Graveside services will be 12:30 p.m., Wednesday, March 13, 2013 at Lee Memorial Park Mausoleum with Dr. Gayle Alexander, Rev. Chad Grayson, and David Springer officiating and a special eulogy by his daughter, Lorinda Lee. W.E. Pegues Funeral Directors is entrusted with the arrangements.
Survivors include his wife of forty-five years, Carolyn Huddleston Lee; his only daughter, the apple of his eye, Lorinda Lee of New York, NY, his brothers, Glen (Peggy) and Gene (Evelyn) Lee of Meadville. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation will be 5 ? 8 p.m. Tuesday at Pegues Funeral Home in Tupelo.
