BOB WILLIFORD
Saltillo - ROBERT WOODROW "BOB" WILLIFORD, 65, died Monday, July 16, 2007, at Baptist Hospital, East in Memphis Tenn. after a brief illness. A native of Decaturville, Tenn., he was born August 10, 1941 to the late Woodrow Wilson and Ruby Mae Boroughs Williford. He was a graduate of The University of Memphis. He was a business accountant and also owner of The Smoke House Barbeque in Tupelo. He enjoyed old classic cars and doing yardwork and will be remembered as an enthusiastic hobbyist. He was a member of First Presbyterian Church.
Services will be 4 p.m. Thursday at The Saltillo Chapel of W.E. Pegues with Dr. Tom Groome and Sammy Lansdell officiating. Burial will be in Unity Cemetery.
Survivors include His wife of nearly 45 years, Bonnie Coggins Williford of Saltillo; one daughter, Cheryle Denise Williford of Saltillo; his godchildren, Wendy, Matt, and Chandler Howell and Cindy, Tommy, Dale, and Gracie Holcomb, all of Saltillo; one brother, Joe Williford of Saltillo; a brother and sister-in-law, Ray and Diane Oliver of Saltillo; three brothers-in-law, Harley Coggins, Larry Joe Coggins, both of Saltillo and Richard Coggins of Independence.
Pallbearers will be Buddy Coggins, Mike Smith, Jim Bennett, David Boroughs, Franklin Boroughs, Marty Pitts and Alan Johnson.
Visitation will be 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Saltillo Funeral home.
