BOB WILEY Robert Allen "Bob" Wiley, 59, passed away Sunday, September 6, 2015, at Eastport Marina on Pickwick Lake, Iuka, after a sudden illness. He was born July 30, 1956, to Thomas Lamar and Pearl Robbins Wiley in Tupelo, Mississippi. A 1974 graduate of Tupelo High School, he went on to Mississippi State University where he graduated in 1978 with a Bachelors Degree in Business Management. Bob was the owner and president of Comfort Engineering Company, Inc., a family business for over 75 years. He was an Eagle Scout and continued to pass on those skills and love for the outdoors to others. He enjoyed spending time at the Wiley Farm and tailgating with friends and family at MSU football games. A former member of the US Coast Guard Auxiliary, he has loved boating on Pickwick Lake since childhood. Bob was a lifelong member of First Baptist Church, Tupelo. Services will be at 12:00 p.m. Thursday, September 10, 2015, at First Baptist Church with Rev. Ricky Young and Rev. Terry Floyd officiating. Graveside services will follow in Tupelo Memorial Park. W.E. Pegues Funeral Directors is in charge of the arrangements. He leaves behind his wife of 36 years, Debbie Smith Wiley of Tupelo; his children, Matt Wiley (Kendall), Katherine Dendy (Cullen), and Preston Wiley (Rachel), all of Tupelo; his mother, Pearl Robbins Wiley of Tupelo; four siblings, Linda Bowlin (Dr. John) of Tupelo, Dr. Thomas Wiley (Merrie) of Jackson, Lera Triplett (Palmer) of Tupelo, and Ellen White (Steve) of Tupelo; four grandchildren, Ella Kate Wiley, Holt Wiley, Carter Dendy, and Emma Caroline Dendy; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Thomas Lamar Wiley. Pallbearers will be Palmer Triplett and Steve White; his nephews Joseph Bowlin, Ben Floyd, Michael Triplett, John White, David White, and Ben White. Honorary pallbearers will be the employees of Comfort Engineering and Eastport friends. Visitation will be 4 until 8 p.m. Wednesday, September 9, 2015, at W. E. Pegues, Tupelo, and from 11 a.m. until service time Thursday at First Baptist Church.
