Blake Whitworth

Mooreville - Blake D Whitworth, 20, passed away Thursday, December 28, 2017, at North Mississippi Medical Center. He was born June 4, 1997 in New Albany to James and Holly  Whitworth. Blake was a master welder for KI in Tupelo and he competed in State, Delta, and Regional welding competitions. He loved dirt bike riding and enjoyed working on everything he could.  He was always the first to help his friends out when they needed it. Blake was easy to love and never met a stranger.



Survivors include mother, Holly Whitworth (Tom Speaks) of Mooreville; father, James Whitworth (Martha) of Ecru; grandparents, Norma and Stoney Sappington of Ecru; brothers, Bradley Whitworth (Anna) of Clarksville, Tennessee, David George (April) of Pontotoc, Chris George (Khristal) of Mantachie, Joey George (Maz) of Anchorage, Alaska; sisters, Brooke Whitworth of Mooreville, Heather George of Pontotoc; cousins, Addy Greenhaw, Michael John Warren Jr; several nieces and nephews and a host of close friends.



He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Wayne Whitworth and grandmother, Donna Botts.



Visitation will be from 2 p.m. until service time Sunday, December 31, 2017, at W. E. Pegues, Tupelo.



Services will be 3 p.m., Sunday, December 31, 2017 at the Jefferson Street Chapel of W.E. Pegues with Bro. Trent Thompson officiating.



The service will be live streamed and recorded for those who may not be able to attend at www.peguesfuneralhome.com .
