Billy Pearson

Saltillo - Billy Pearson, 77, passed away Monday, July 27, 2015, at Baldwyn Nursing Facility. He was born September 21, 1937 to Sulvester and Lois Ann Lewis Pearson and was one of 24 children. He was a trim carpenter for most of his life. Billy worked for RJ Wilemon and retired after 30 years. He also helped build the Ten Tom Waterway. Billy liked country music, and watching old western movies. He loved the outdoors and spent as much time as he could out. He was a member of Barnes Crossing Baptist Church. Services will be 11 a.m. Friday, July 31, 2015 at W. E. Pegues, Saltillo with Bro. Henry Jenkins officiating. A graveside service will follow at 2:30 p.m. at Liberty Cemetery in McNairy, Tennessee. W. E. Pegues Funeral Directors is in charge of the arrangements. Survivors include his beloved wife, Frances Pearson of Saltillo; one daughter, Christina Smith (Chuck) of Saltillo; two granddaughters, Cassie Stewart (Justin) of Thaxton and Adriane Smith of Saltillo; a host of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by both his parents. Pallbearers will be Jeff Jackson, Marty Cox, Jonathan Cox, R.C. Cox, Justin Stewart and Wesley Cox.
