BILLY G. MILLS, SR. Amory - Billy G. Mills, Sr., 80, died Tuesday, September 18, 2012, at his residence. He was born in Alcorn County on December 17, 1931 to Roy G. and Beulah Viola Smith Mills. Hw was a United States veteran who served in the Korean Conflict. Services with military honors will be 2 p.m. Thursday, September 20, 2012 at The Jefferson Street Chapel of W. E. Pegues with Bro. Curtis Shelton and Bro. Leon Willis officiating. Burial will be in New Home Cemetery in Itawamba County. Survivors include his wife of 21 years, Janice McAfee Mills of Amory; two children, Phyllis Baldwin of Amory and Billy "Bud" Mills, Jr. of Mooreville; two grandchildren; six siblings, Vernell Hopkins of Mooreville, Jane Hatfield (Arnold) of Booneville, Aubrey Mills of Booneville, Audrey Mills of Corinth, Pat Wallace (Charlie) and Peggy Wilson (Darrel) both of Tennessee. He was preceded in death by his son, Aaron Dwight Mills; his brother, Thomas Mills; his parents. Visitation will be 11 a.m. - 2 p.m. Thursday, September 20, 2012 at the funeral home.
