Bill Stevens
Corinth – Billy Glen Stevens, 63, died Wednesday, December 5, 2018, at Longwood Nursing Home Hospice Center in Booneville. On June 16, 1955, he was born to Marvin Wallace Stevens and Mae Dean Roe Burns in Corinth. Bill was employed for many years as an over the road truck driver. Aside from driving a truck and prior to becoming disabled, Bill was known for and enjoyed small engine repairs. He loved his grandchildren and spending time with them. Bill enjoyed sitting outside, solving word puzzles and watching television.
Survived by his daughter, Melissa Byrd and her husband John of Mantachie; two precious grandchildren, Alyssa Byrd, age 9, and Autumn Byrd, age 4, both of Mantachie; sister, Marvina Saylors and her husband Larry of Galloway, Tennessee; twin brother, Bobby Stevens of Corinth; two half brothers, Wayne Stevens and Roger Stevens, both of Corinth; and one half sister, LeAnn Brown and her husband Mike of Mason, Tennessee.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Marvin Wallace Stevens and Mae Dean Roe Burns.
