Tupelo " William George "Bill" Rosebery, 69, died Wednesday, July 11, 2007, at his residence after a sudden illness. An Indianapolis, Indiana native, he was born June 18, 1938. He and his wife, Fay, lived in the Auburn Community after moving from Long Beach due to Hurricane Katrina. He was a career U.S. Navy veteran of the Vietnam War, retiring after 22 years of service. After his retirement from the military he worked for the U.S. Postal Service and for Boeing Aircraft. He enjoyed reading and plactic crafts.
Graveside services with full military honors will be 11 a.m. Thursday, July 19, 2007 at Corinth National Cemetery. W. E. Pegues Funeral Directors is in charge of the arrangements.
Survivors include his wife of 12 years, Fay Rosebery of Tupelo; and his daughter, Debbie Worley of Erlanger, Ky.
Visitation will be 2 to 4 p.m. Wednesday, July 18 at the funeral home.
