Belden - BILL CLARK, 60, died Sunday, August 26, 2007, at his residence in the Belden/Endville community. A Tupelo native, he was born August 4, 1947 to the late Raymond Clark and Kathleen Hunter Griffin. He attended Tupelo High School and Itawamba Community College. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam Conflict. He worked as a dispatcher for Action Industries for 25 years. He enjoyed golfing and riding motorcycles. He was a member of Belden Baptist Church.
Services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at The Jefferson Street Chapel of W. E. Pegues with Mr. Sammy Lansdell officiating. Allen McDaniel will deliver the eulogy. Burial will be in Lee Memorial Park.
Survivors include his wife of nearly 40 years, Mae Clark of Belden; one daughter, Jennifer McBrayer and husband, Don, of Cabot, Ark.; one son, Craig Clark and wife, Mandy, of Ackerman; two brothers, Jerry Clark of Tupelo and Kenny Clark of Itta Benna; four grandchildren, Katelyn McBrayer, Kara McBrayer, Colin Clark and Owen Clark.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his stepfather, J.W. Griffin.
Pallbearers will be Carl Patterson, Billy Riggs, Kirk Hays, Jeff Fountain, Allen McDaniel, Joe Fennell, John Lindsey, and Robert Russell.
Honorary Pallbearers will be his biker friends, The Mingo's Cycle Club, and his golfing buddies at the Pontotoc Country Club.
Visitation will be 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
