BEVERLY NEW Pontotoc - Beverly Dawn New, 45, left for glory Monday, November 10, 2014. She was born July 31, 1969 to Dwight Mayo and Helen Malone. A 1987 graduate of Ouachita Parish High School. She married her husband, James F. New on October 18, 1990. She loved spending time with her children, she was a family oriented woman and a very good loving wife. She enjoyed riding four-wheelers. She was a member of Oasis of Love Fellowship Church. She will be missed and was loved by all who knew her. Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday, November 15, 2014 at Oasis of Love Fellowship Church with Pastor Marquitta Dulaney and Bro. David Hurbert officiating. Burial will be Oasis of Love Cemetery. W. E. Pegues Funeral Directors is in charge of the arrangements. Survivors include her husband of 24 years, James F. New of Pontotoc; four daughters, Patricia Peachey of Symirna, TN., Janie Thomas (Petre) of Pontotoc, Jinny New of Pontotoc and Jereacka Kauffman of Pontotoc; five grandchildren and two on the way; her mother, Helen Malone of Monroe, LA.; her father, Dwight Mayo of Antlers OK.; two sisters, Brandy Smith (Mark) Monroe, LA., Dannielle Roe (Adam) Loxely, AL.; three brothers, Al Mayo (Lisa) of Monroe, LA., Brian Mayo (Amanda) of Monroe, LA. and Justin Mayo of Daphne, AL; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her grandparents. Pallbearers will be Justin R. Mayo, Jared Lee, Sammy Dulaney, Frankie Tackitt, Mike Stevens and James Carl New.
