BETTY HUGHES Tupelo - Betty A. Hughes, 60, died Saturday, June 30, 2012, at the North Mississippi Medical Center. She was born in Biloxi on November 8, 1951, to Cleveland Tollie and Mildred Jeleusish Roberts. For over 30 years, she was a manager for Sodexo Food Service Company, where she was a dedicated employee. A stateroom prayer service will be held at 6:00 p.m., Monday, July 2, 2012, at W. E. Pegues, Tupelo with Father Tom Lalor officiating. A celebration of her life and burial will be held 12:00 p.m.,Thursday, July 5, 2012, in Biloxi. Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Home will be in charge of final services. Burial will be in Biloxi City Cemetery Survivors include her partner, Joe Shalley of Tupelo; one son; William Tollie Kidd and fiancee Treana Bonser of Modesto, California; several neices and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, John Hough; one sister; Teresa Knight. Visitation will be 4 to 6 p.m. Monday, July 2, 2012 at the funeral home.
