Betty Dill

November 22, 1939 — February 28, 2011

Fulton - Betty Fay Dill, 71, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Monday, February 28, 2011. She was born in Arkansas November 22, 1939 to John Elbert and Dollie McNatt Wallace. She was a longtime resident of the Black Zion Community and worked several years as a sewing machine opperator for Lane Industries. She enjoyed gardening and working outside in her flowers. She was a member of Black Zion Baptist Church in Pontotoc.

Services will be 2:30 p.m. Thursday, March 3, 2011, at The Jefferson Street Chapel of W. E. Pegues with Rev. James Elbert Williams officiating. Burial will be in Lee Memorial Park.

Survivors include her husband of 31 years, Troy Wayne Dill of Fulton; her children, Pat Roper (Randy) of Brewer, Donnie Huffman (Darrell) of Houston, and Donna Clingan (Rex) of Pontotoc; her sister, Brenda Munn (Pete) of Albany, Ga.; her step-children, Trina Turner of Fulton, Melissa Thayer of Fulton, Danny Dill (Belinda) of Fulton, Richard Dill of Pontotoc, Michelle Ruby Dill of Pontotoc; 12 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Horace Williams; her son, Terry Wayne Williams; four brothers, Levone Wallace, Robert Wallace, W.L. Wallace, Pete Wallace; and two sisters, Joann Wilbanks, Kathryn Kasper.

Pallbearers will be Chris Coln, Jason Clingan, Matthew Clingan, Blake Clingan, Jeremy Williams, and Philip Hall.

Visitation will be 5 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
