Saltillo - BETTY "SUE ALEXANDER, 65, died Tuesday, November 7, 2006, at The Courtyard Nursing Center after an extended illness. A Lee County native, she was born June 26, 1941 to the late Hollis and Berniece Anglin Stults. She retired as a sales associate for Wal-Mart after 16 years of service. She loved cooking for her family, sewing, working in her garden and flowers, and the special time she spent with children and grandchildren. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Saltillo.

Services will be 10 a.m. Thursday, November 9, 2006 at The Saltillo Chapel of W.E. Pegues with Dr. Ken Anderson, Sammy Lansdell, and Rev. John Stevens officiating. Burial will be in Fellowship Cemetery.

Survivors include her husband of 47 years, Gene Alexander, of the Fellowship Community; two daughters, Susan Mathis and Gary of Fellowship, and Michele Denham and Doug of Saltillo; two sons, Michael Alexander and Chris, of Guntown, and Murray Alexander and Amy, of Saltillo; one brother, Quay Stults and Peggy, of Fellowship; two sisters-in-law, Betty Stults of Mooreville and Martha Kingsley of Hawkins, Tex.; three grandchidlren, John Alexander, Karen Mathis, and Renee Denham.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Roy Lee Stults; one nephew, Mark Kingsley.

Pallbearers will be Maurice Jones, Doug Ezell, Howard Langston, Ron Helms, Frank Breaux, Dinky Crowder.

Visitation will be 5:30 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the Saltillo Funeral Home.
