Black Zion " Mary Elizabeth Chisholm Graham, 55, of the Black Zion Community, died Saturday, August 1, 2009 at her home after a lengthy illness. Beth was born May 23, 1954 in Tupelo. She attended Tupelo High School and Northeast Mississippi Junior College. She worked at Tupelo Foam for over 17 years and had worked with her husband at Shannon & Graham Eye Clinic in Pontotoc for the past 10 years. Beth was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. She was also an avid Mississippi State fan.
Services will be 1:00 p.m. Monday, August 3, 2009, at The Jefferson Street Chapel of W. E. Pegues with the Rev. David Eldridge officiating. Burial will be in White Zion Cemetery.
Survivors include her husband, Dr. Philip Graham of the Black Zion Community; her mother, Wilma Chisholm of Tupelo; two brothers, Jim Chisholm and Vic Chisholm and his wife, Jan, all of Saltillo; her nephews, Drew Chisholm and Jake Chisholm and his wife, Jill; nieces, Nicole Boyd, Britney Graham, Dawn Hopkins, Stephanie Hale and Amber Graham; great nieces, McKenna and Molly.
She was preceded in death by her father, Jimmy Chisholm and grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. W. O. Williams and Mr. and Mrs. E. R. Chisholm.
Pallbearers will be Ron McCafferty, Philip Jamieson, Bubba Bass, Danny Roebuck, James Bryan and Jay Gallman.
Visitation will be 5 " 8 p.m. Sunday, August 2, 2009 at the funeral home.
