CARTHAGE - Bessie Christine Eubanks, 92, died Friday, Jan. 16, 2009, at Leake Memorial Hospital. She was a retired garment factory worker. She was a native of Pontotoc County and a member of Freeny Baptist Church in Carthage.
Services will be held 2 p.m. Monday, January 19, 2009, at the Jefferson Street Chapel of W. E. Pegues with Brother John Adams officiating. She will be laid to rest in Lee Memorial Park.
She is survived by a son, Johnny Eubanks of Walnut Grove; daughters, Ruth Young of Tupelo, Blanche Walden of Oakland and Jo Nell Redmon of Panama City, Florida; a sister, Doris Belk of Tupelo; eight grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be David Walden, Grady Camburn, Ken Young, Tyler Young, Larry Redmon and Zane Lee.
Visitation will be Monday, Jan. 19, 2009, at the funeral home from 10 a.m. until service time.
