BERNICE WHITE PARHAM

Canton - BERNICE WHITE PARHAM, 86, died Sunday, May 13, 2007, at Madison County Nursing Home. She was born April 25, 1921. The most important role in her life was being a mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was loved and adored by her family and she will be greatly missed.

Services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at The Jefferson Street Chapel of W. E. Pegues with Rev. Timothy Prather officiating. Burial will be in Camp Creek Cemetery.

Survivors include two daughters, Johnie Sue Street and husband, Glenn Q. Street III, of Canton, and Rosemary Goodrum Parker of Brandon; two sisters, Charyle Newman and Kathleen McNutt of Tupelo; two grandchildren, Rosemary Long Dillard and husband, David, of Tupelo and William Edward Parker of Canton, two great-granddaughters, Mary Payne Dillard of Tupelo and Bailey Elizabeth Parker of Canton.

Visitation will be 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
