BEN BRATTON

Tupelo - Benjamin Ray "Ben Bratton, 9, died Tuesday, September 19, 2006, at St. Jude Children's Hospital after an extended illness. He was born in Tupelo December 2, 1996 to Barry and Lynne Blythe Bratton. He loved super heros, never realizing he was one to so many people. He enjoyed so many activities such as basketball, bowling, baseball, riding his 4-wheeler, playing checkers with his Poppa, and "fighting" with Starwars light sabers. His favorite color was green. He was a marksman with a BB gun and an avid Three Stooges fan. He was an acolyte for his church, Verona United Methodist, which he took very seriously as he lit the candles. In 2004 he was awarded the distinction of Honorary Assistant Chief by the Tupelo Fire Department. He was a happy young man and wanted to make sure everyone around him was happy also.
