BASHIR KABBAN
Tupelo - Bashir S. Kabban, 85, died Thursday, August 23, 2012, at Community Hospice at Darlington Oaks. A Jaffa, Palestine native, he was born September 20, 1926 to Salim George and Sophia Kabban. He was a loving husband and father. He was a retired Chief Master Sargent in the United States Air Force for twenty-four years and nine months.
Services will be 3:30 p.m. Sunday, August 26, 2012, at the Jefferson Street Chapel with Mr. Sammy Lansdell officiating. Burial will be in Belden Cemetery with full military honors. W. E. Pegues Funeral Directors is in charge of the arrangements.
Survivors include his wife, Shirley Geneva Kabban of Tupelo; one daughter, Tina Kabban McDaniels of Tupelo; two sons, Emil Kabban (Melanie) of Stafford, Virginia, and Reginald Kabban (Christine) of Dayton, Ohio; one sister-in-law, Louise Thompson of Tupelo; seven grandchildren, Christopher and Michael McDaniels, Dara Wotherspoon (Zach), Kaitlyn, Emily, Laura, and Aaron Kabban; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one daughter, Rita Kabban; two brothers, Elias and George Kabban; six sisters, Bertha Shieb, Mary Kabban, Amal EL HINN, Selma Habash, Olga Kamar, Lorrette Khoury.
Visitation will be 4 ? 7 p.m. Saturday, August 25, 2012 at the funeral home.
