BARRY NABERS Baldwyn- Barry Jonathan Nabers, 35, died Saturday, April 6, 2013, in the Ozark Community due to injuries sustained in an automobile accident. He was born in Lee County on January 2, 1978, to Donald and Joanie Ellis Nabers. He graduated in 1996 from Mooreville High School. He worked as a Research Coordinator with Bridgepoint Hematology and Oncology in Tupelo. An active member of the Praise Barn in Mooreville, he enjoyed singing gospel music, was an avid reader and treasured the time spent with friends and family, especially the niece he adored and spoilt, Karrie Coward. Services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, April 10, 2013 at The Jefferson Street Chapel of W. E. Pegues with a eulogy given by his sister, Tabatha Sheffield and with Bro. Danny Thomas officiating. Burial will be in Andrews Chapel Cemetery. Survivors include his father, Donald Nabers of Baldwyn; his sister, Tabatha Sheffield (James) of Mooreville; paternal grandmother, Kathleen Nabers of Baldwyn, maternal grandmother, Annie Nichols of the Richmond Community; and his very special niece, Karrie Coward. He was preceded in death by his mother, Joanie Ellis Nabers; his grandfathers, Julious Nabers and John Thomas Ellis. Pallbearers will be Jason Jones, Ross Perry, Larry Schumpert, David Lee, Cody Haney, Patrick Fain, Jonathon Westmoreland and Dallas Blair. Honorary pallbearers will be his fellow co-workers, the physicians and staff of Bridgepoint. Visitation will be 4 - 8 p.m. Tuesday, April 9, 2013 at the funeral home.
