Saltillo - Barbara Ann Sanders Tackitt, 57, died Wednesday, June 22, 2011, at her residence. She was born in Bellechase, LA on April 12, 1954 to Walter and Katherine McConkey Sanders. She was a long-time active member of Oasis of Love Church in Pontotoc and a new member of the Lord's House of Praise in Saltillo where she loved to sing and teach Sunday School. She enjoyed gardening, crafts, and spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Services will be 12:30 p.m. Saturday , June 25, 2011 at the Jefferson Street Chapel of W. E. Pegues with Bro. Dale Robinson and Rev. Marquitta Dulaney officiating. Burial will be in the Tackitt Cemetery.

Survivors include four children, Pamela Robinson and husband, Dale, of Saltillo, LaFrances Brown and fiance Gary Keith of Topeka, Ks., Frankie Tackitt and fiance, Tana Blair of Pontotoc, and Jessica Morris and fiance, Kyle Dowdy of Pontotoc; eighteen grandchildren, Brittany, Patience, Amy, Samantha and Brandon Powers, Gracie, Cayden, Zoe, and MaCara Morris, Bryleigh, Kaylynn, and Allison Blair, Makenzie Mathis and Eddie, Alisha, Audrey, Kristan, and Brandon Robinson; six great-grandchildren; two sisters, Betty Hoover (Jim) of Quitman and Rita Warren (Randy) of Bellechase, La.; two brothers, Billy Sanders (Darnyle) and George Sanders, all of Hattiesburg; several nieces nephews and many dear friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a grandson, Dusty Robinson in 2004.

Pallbearers will be Jamie New, Jeremy New, Justin Morris, Frankie Keith, Jamie Powers and Daniel Edwards.

Visitation will be 4 - 8 p.m. Friday, June 24, 2011, at the Funeral Home and from 11 a.m. until service time on Saturday.
