Barbara Franks Morton Fulton- Barbara Franks Morton, 78, died Tuesday, August 4, 2015, at the North Mississippi Medical Center. She was a resident at Charleston Place in Fulton where she lived for the past three years. Prior, she lived in Saltillo where she was a proprietor of "Barbara's Place" Restaurant. Mother loved serving others, enjoying Gospel music, singing and of course her family. Services will be 2 p.m. Friday, August 7, 2015, at the Saltillo Chapel of W. E. Pegues with Dr. Ken Anderson and Rev. James Lawson officiating. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery, Centerville. She is survived by four of her six children, Margie Ann Pennington (David) of Saltillo, Rita Lynn Chamblee (Tommy) of Fulton, Nina Joan Johnson (Mitch) of Tampa, Florida, Arthur Eugene Franks of Fulton; one daughter-in-law, Mylinda Jarrell Franks of Saltillo; five sisters and brothers, Gerrie Palmer (Art) of Saltillo, Dorothy Autrey of Marietta, Brenda Lawson (Jim) of Selmer, Tennessee, Larry Funderburk (Charlene) of Zion, Illinois, Charlotte Lard (Rob) of Iuka; sixteen grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by parents, Delmer Eugene Funderburk and Bertie Annabelle Rogers Funderburk; her husbands, Arthur Vardamen Franks and Quinn Hall Morton; two sons, Lonnie Keith Franks and Jeffery Allen Franks; one son-in-law, David Lawrence Tucker; one brother-in-l aw, John Lyle Autrey and one sister-in-law, Barbara Robinson Funderburk. Pallbearers will be her grandsons, Brian Johnson, Neal Tucker, Chris Underwood, Eli Johnson, Vince Chamblee and Zac Tucker. Visitation will be 4 until 8 p.m., Thursday, August 06, 2015, at W. E. Pegues, Saltillo.
