ARTHUR ROBINSON
Tupelo " Arthur S. Robinson, 73, died Friday, October 19, 2007 at the Sanctuary Hospice House after a short illness. He was born in Abbeville on July 5, 1934 to the late William Harvey and Ruby Betts Robinson. He had been employed at the Mall at Barnes Crossing, Mid-South Packers, but retired from Mooreville School and the Lee County School System. He was a faithful member of Lakeview Baptist Church and always looked forward to attending church and being with his church family.
Services will be 3 p.m. Monday in the Jefferson Street Chapel of W. E. Pegues with Rev. Don Reed and Rev. Robert Garland officiating. Burial will be in Tupelo Memorial Park.
Survivors include three sisters, Frances Todd Virginia Jones of Tupelo, and Carol Consoli and her husband, Lou of Upland, California; three brothers, Bill Robinson and his wife, Ina, of Earp, California, Bob Robinson and his wife, Karen, of Beaumont, California, and his twin brother, Frank Robinson and his wife, Jean, of Tupelo; two grandsons, Jackson and Grayson Robinson of Tennessee.
Pallbearers will be Lou Consoli, Wesley Hunt, Sonny Devaughn, Richard Galabiz, and his nephews, Greg Harden Randy Jones, and Brad Norman.
Memorials may be made to Sanctuary Hospice House, 5159 West Main St., Tupelo, MS 38801, Lakeview Baptist Church, 830 Shumacola Trail, Tupelo, MS 38801 or your favorite Charity.
Visitation will be 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
