Annie Lois Beasley Parchman
Shannon - Annie Lois Beasley Parchman, 80, passed away Friday, June 30, 2017, at North Mississippi Medical Center. She was born September 4, 1936, to Curtis and Lota Wheeler Beasley. She married James Howard "Bub" Parchman, Jr. on October 2, 1952, during their lunch breaks. Annie worked at various places as a seamstress, even tailored for herself and her family, until her retirement and became a homemaker. She was an astonishing cook and loved decorating her home. In her spare time, she enjoyed shopping, horseback riding, and gardening. She was a long-time member of First Baptist Church in Shannon. Enjoyed spending time with her family, she loved them dearly.
Survivors include her son, Randy Parchman, Sr. (Debra) of Shannon; daughter, Angie Simmons (Danny) of Shannon; grandchildren, Keith Simmons (Amy) of North Carolina, Scott Simmons (Amanda) of Tupelo, Randy Parchman, Jr. (Diane) of Plantersville, Greg Simmons (Amanda) of Houston, Amanda Marcy (Shane) of Mooreville; granddaughter-in-law, Mary Beth Parchman of Plantersville; great- grandchildren, Courtney King (Dustin), Kaylee Simmons, Amelia Parchman, Trace Simmons, Todd Simmons, Grey Simmons, Leigh-Anna Simmons, Ben Simmons, Addie Marcy, Sophie Simmons, Molly Simmons, John Allen Marcy; brothers, Joe Beasley, David Beasley (Janet) and sisters, Joy Moore and Shirley Harlow.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, James Howard Parchman, Jr. in 1994; grandson, Allen Parchman; daughter-in-law, Angie Hopper Parchman; brothers, Willie C. Beasley, A. B. Beasley and Cecil Beasley and sisters, Winnie Mae Delaney and Robbie Lee Beasley.
Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until service time Sunday, July 2, 2017, at W. E. Pegues, Tupelo.
Services will be 4 p.m. Sunday, July 2, 2017, at the Jefferson Street Chapel of W. E. Pegues with Rev. Jerry Estes officiating.
Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Monday, July 3, 2017 at Lee Memorial Park with son, Randy Parchman, Sr. officiating.
Pallbearers will be Keith Simmons, Scott Simmons, Greg Simmons, Randy Parchman, Jr., and Shane Marcy.
Honorary pallbearer will be posthumously, Allen Parchman.
Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church, Shannon’s building fund, New Freedom Full Gospel Church, Okolona’s building fund or your charity of choice.
