ANNETTE KELLY MORTENSEN



Amory - Annette Kelly Mortensen, 68, passed away Saturday, August 24, 2013, at her residence. She was born August 28, 1944, in Redbay, Alabama, to Elbert Floyd and Della Mae Burns Daniel. A graduate of Tupelo High school, she then received her degree as a registered nurse from MSCW. As well as being a registered nurse, she enjoyed volunteering her time to help people understand their health through many nursing homes. She was an avid scrap booker, gardener and crafter. She loved her family and cherished time spent with them. She was a member of Lakeview Baptist Church.



Services will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 27, 2013, at The Jefferson Street Chapel of W. E. Pegues with Rev. Robert Garland and Dr. Roy McHenry officiating. Burial will be in Tupelo Memorial Park.



Survivors include her husband, Bro. P.J. Mortensen of Amory; three children, Kim Kelly, Christi Shields (Jimmie) and Michael B. Kelly (Tonia) all of Tupelo; five grandchildren, Josh and Kelly Witcher, Joey Shields, Robby and Hope Smith; one niece, Lysha Lentz (Kelly) and their children, Austin and Steven Lentz all of Tupelo.



She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Frances Patterson; one grandaughter, Lauren Kelly.



Pallbearers will be Jimmy Ridling, Jimmie Shields, Ray Wright, Austin, Steven and Kelly Lentz.



Visitation will be 6 ? 8:00 p.m. Monday, August 26, 2013, at the funeral home.
