Saltillo - Ethel Annette Kindt, 73, died Wednesday, March 9, 2011, at Sanctuary Hospice House after an extended illness. She was born April 17, 1937 to Columbus Richard and Melverta L. Hill Norris. She enjoyed working crossword puzzles, watching game shows, reading, and was an avid Nascar fan. She loved spending time with her family, especially her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church.
Services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 12, 2011, at The Jefferson Street Chapel of W. E. Pegues Funeral Directors with Bro. Jim Wismer officiating. A Eulogy will be given by Craig Caygle. Burial will be in Fellowship Cemetery.
Survivors include two sons, Lerland Kindt (Judy) of Tupelo, Eddie Kindt (Tina) of Mantachie; one daughter, Gail Caygle (Craig) of Tupelo; three brothers, Gene Norris of Saltillo, David Norris (Jettie) of Tupelo, Roy Norris (Deletha) of Saltillo; two sisters, Bernice Palmer (Billy) of Eggville, who was also her close friend, and Mittie Green (Hugh) of Southaven; ten grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; special niece Melanie Williams and special aunt, Hazel Norris.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Harold Kindt; one sister Aileen Gattis; two brothers, W. T. Norris, Monroe Norris.
Pallbearers will be Brian Rigby, Jakob Kindt, Brian Pollock, Corey Caygle, Jimmy Bennett, and Tony Williams.
Visitation will be 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, March 11, 2011, at the funeral home.
