ANN COLLINS Tupelo - Ann Collins, 97, passed away Tuesday, October 20, 2015, at the Sanctuary Hospice House in Tupelo, Mississippi after an extended illness. She was born in Fayette County, Alabama on September 12, 1918, to Lonnie and Edna Cunningham Mobley. Ann began working at Renasant Bank, formerly known as Peoples Bank and Trust Company, Tupelo, Mississippi, in 1967 and worked as a bank teller until her retirement in her late 80's. She was an active, well-known and loved member of First Baptist Church, Tupelo. Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, October 24, 2015 at First Baptist Church, Tupelo with Dr. Gayle Alexander and Rev. Dave Jenson officiating. A graveside service will follow in Shannon Cemetery. Survivors include one daughter, Jane Simon (Maurice) of New Orleans, Louisiana and Gulf Shores, Alabama and numerous other family members. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Durward T. Collins. Visitation will be 4 - 7 p.m. Friday, October 23, 2015 at W. E. Pegues, Tupelo.
