ANDY ROBERTS
Tupelo - LESTER ANTHONY "ANDY" ROBERTS, 58, died Monday, April 23, 2007, at North Mississippi Medical Center after a brief illness. A Greenville native, he was born October 3, 1948 to the late Edgar and Irene Roberts. He was the manager for Mattress Direct in Tupelo. He enjoyed working on his computer and watching sports on television. His greatest joy was playing with his grandchildren. He was a member of First Evangelical Church.
Services will be 2 p.m. Thursday, April 26, 2007 at The Jefferson Street Chapel of W. E. Pegues with Rev. Tim Lampley officiating. Burial will be in Tupelo Memorial Park.
Survivors include his wife of eight years, Hilda Roberts of Tupelo; three sons, Tony Roberts and wife, Sadie, of Tupelo, Greg Ferguson and wife, Mindy, of Pontotoc, Matt Ferguson and wife, Deana, of Pontoc; three grandchildren, Chloe Ferguson, Bryson Ferguson, and Cammy Roberts all of Pontotoc; a half brother, Eddie Roberts; a half sister, Cindy Roberts, both of Greenville; his aunt and uncle, Rose and Jack LaBouve of Tupelo; special friends, Stan and Marie of Sparta, Tenn.; his special church friends and family.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Darlene Roberts.
Visitation will be will continue until service time Thursday at the funeral home
