Tupelo - Amanda Turner Westmoreland, 29, died Sunday, September 27, 2009, at her residence. A Tupelo native, she was born August 6, 1980 to Paul Edward and Marketta James Turner. She lived most of her life in Tupelo and a brief time in Pontotoc. She married Jonathan Westmoreland June 26, 1999. She loved her three sons and spending time with her family.
Services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at The Jefferson Street Chapel of W. E. Pegues with Rev. Paul Stupka officiating. Burial will be in Longview Cemetery.
Survivors include her husband of ten years, Jonathan Westmoreland of Tupelo; her three sons, Boston Jude Westmoreland, Hayden Elijah Westmoreland, and Dylan Isaiah Westmoreland, all of the home; her parents, Paul E. and Marketta Turner of Pontotoc; four sisters, Layla Murphree (Danny), Sara Turner of Pontotoc, Anna Turner, and Cara Turner, all of Pontotoc; four brothers, Paul Turner, Jr. (April) of Tupelo, James Turner, John Turner, and Joseph Turner, all of Pontotoc; one sister-in-law, Rachel Westmoreland of Pontotoc; two brothers-in-law, Jody Westmoreland (Brandi) of Ecru and Ethan Westmoreland of Pontotoc; her parents-in-law, Dennis and Jill Westmoreland of Pontotoc.
Visitation will be 5 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
