Tupelo - Amanda Miller Beard, 44, died Monday, June 4, 2018, at North Mississippi Medical Center after a lengthy illness. She was born in Ripley June 25, 1973, to Randall and Barbara Yoe Miller. She was a 1991 graduate of Booneville High School. On December 6, 2001, she married Stace Beard and together they had two sons. She was a certified registered nurse anesthetist for 15 years. She was a member of Harrisburg Baptist Church. Amanda lived life boldly embracing her love of life and her willingness to help others.
Survivors include her husband, Stace Beard of Tupelo; two sons, Tyler and Tayler Beard; ; one granddaughter, Kendall Grace Beard; her mother, Barbara Taylor and her husband, Donald of Tupelo; father, Randall Miller and his wife, Kim of Ripley; step-father, Jan Prichard of Booneville; mother-in-law, Susan Beard of Corinth; three sisters, Jana Bell (Jonathan), Lisa Brown (Josh), Savannah Cummings (Beau); one sister-in-law, Dena Johnson (Mat); three brothers, Josh Miller (LeAnn), Burt Miller (Brittany), Spencer Taylor (Blair); maternal grandmother, Mavienne Hodges (Bobby) of New Albany; and grandfather, R.B. Prichard of Booneville.
She was preceded in death by several grandparents.
Visitation will be from until 4 until 8 p.m. Tuesday, June 5, 2018 at W.E. Pegues, Tupelo.
Services celebrating her life will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, June 6, 2018, at the Jefferson Street Chapel of W.E. Pegues with Rev. Jim Holcolmb officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church Cemetery near New Albany.
Pallbearers will be Eddie Yoe, Josh Miller, Burt Miller, Jonathan Bell, Mat Johnson and Brent Mills.
Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105.
