Baldwyn - Wiley Allen Jolley, Jr., 59, passed away Wednesday, March 27, 2019, at the North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo after an extended illness. On December 4, 1959, he was born to Wiley Allen Jolley, Sr. and Verna Mae Culpepper Jolley in Delhi, Louisiana. Allen graduated from Hernando High School and later married his best friend, Melissa Grisham, and they shared twelve years together. Prior to his failing health, Allen worked for UPS as a Driver Manager for a number of years. Known for being a jack of all trades, Allen was very talented in candle making, knife making and building wind-chimes. He loved to be outdoors and especially enjoyed bird watching. He will be greatly missed by his family, especially his daughter and two grandsons.
Survivors include his wife, Melissa Jolley of Baldwyn; daughter, Lacey Ray and her husband, Geary of Mantachie, and two grandsons, Lukas and Xander Ray, both of the home; father, Wiley Jolley, Sr. of Pontocola; two brothers, Virgil Jolley and his wife, Melissa of Pontocola and Evrette Jolley and his wife, Beth of Pontocola; a host of nieces and nephews; and special friend, Dana Tate Bailey of Tupelo.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Mae Jolley; special uncle, Virgil Jolley; and special friend, David Parker.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
