Alan Lee Langford – Tupelo, MS

Alan Lee Langford, 42, passed away Saturday, May 11, 2024. He was born August 31, 1981 to Keith and Judy Langford. Alan was a veteran of the Army National Guard with one tour of duty in 2005 to Iraq during Operation Iraqi Freedom. He faithfully attended church at West Jackson Street Baptist Church with his family. He was a professed believer in his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Alan was an avid outdoorsman. He loved to bass fish, hunt, and just be outside with his children. He competed in many bass fishing tournaments with many partners, but his favorite partner was his son, Jacob.

He is survived by his is wife of 17 years, Jackie Langford; three children, Katelyn, Sydney, and Jacob; his mother, Judy Langford; his brother, Chris Langford (Jennifer); and a host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, and in-laws.

He is preceded in death by his father, Keith Langford; brother, Tony Langford; and his grandparents, Albert Isaac “Bud” and Mauvilne Langford, Doris Jean Stoker, and Grant J and Etta Hinkle.

Visitation will be 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. Tuesday, May 28, 2024, at West Jackson Street Baptist Church in Tupelo.

Services honoring his life will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, May 29, 2024, at West Jackson Street Baptist Church with Bro. Keith Cochran officiating. Visitation will also take place one hour before service time Wednesday at the church.
