Tupelo - Patricia Fay Oakley Mobley, 65, died Thursday, April 25, 2013, at the North Mississippi Medical Center. She was born on December 13, 1947. She was reared in the Grenada and Holcomb area moving to Tupelo in the early 1980?s. She graduated from Delta State University with a degree in teaching and served with the Tupelo Public School System as an assistant teacher until retirement. She was a faithful active member of West Jackson Street Baptist Church for over twenty-five years.
Services will be 1 p.m. Sunday, April 28, 2013, at The Jefferson Street Chapel of W. E. Pegues with Rev. Bert Harper officiating. Burial will be in Chesterville Cemetery.
Survivors include her two daughters, Shay Allen (Doug) of Pontotoc and Lindsey Broadway (John) of Iuka; five grandchildren, Josh, Andy and Lydia Beth Allen and Jackson and Hunter Broadway; her sister, Mary Crawford (Frank) of Tupelo.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Kathleen Timmons Oakley; her brother, Glenn Norris Oakley.
Visitation will be 4 - 6 p.m. Saturday, April 27, 2013, at the funeral home.
