HARRY ARNOLD Tupelo - Harry Arnold, 80, died Wednesday, August 20, 2014, at the North Mississippi Medical Center after a short illness. He was born in Memphis, Tennessee on March 25, 1934 and grew up in Memphis, graduating from Whitehaven High School. In 1970, he moved to Tupelo with Dover Elevator. Harry had an avid love of airplanes, boats and cars. Harry was the owner of H & B Hobby and Marine in Tupelo. He was the founding member of Dixie Sky Devils Fly Club, and a member of the Mustang Group "Great American Pony Drive". Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, August 23, 2014, at Lakeland Baptist Church with Rev. Lynton Younger and Rev. Rickey Pierce officiating. W. E. Pegues Funeral Directors is in charge of the arrangements. Survivors include his children, Paige Arnold, Kate Hebert (Jacques), Dr. Robert Arnold, JoAnn Arnold, and Ginger Ferrell (Brian); grandchildren, Haley and Jake Hebert, Jack, Benjamin and Sally Kate Ferrell, and Esteban Arnold; one sister, Beverly Ray; half brothers, David Timms and Ed Arnold; half sister Dottie Kammerer; niece and caregiver, Beverly Gooch; and his beloved dog, Abbie. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Tupelo-Lee County Humane Society, 2400 S. Gloster, Tupelo, MS 38801
