CASSANDRA GAY PEARSON Shannon - Cassandra Gay Pearson, 53, died Friday, August 21, 2015, at the North Mississippi Medical Center. She was born May 29, 1962, to Melvin Edward and Margaret Dale McMurry Coker. She enjoyed crocheting, knitting and sewing. She was a happy- go-lucky lady, always with a smile on her face, and never met a stranger. She loved and adored her nieces and nephews and especially her grandchildren. She was a member of Doty Chapel Baptist Church. Services will be 1p.m., Monday, August 24, 2015, at The Jefferson Street Chapel of W. E. Pegues with Rev. David Hall, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in Doty Chapel Cemetery. W. E. Pegues Funeral Directors is in charge of the arrangements. Survivors include her husband of almost 31 years, David Pearson of Shannon; two children, Matthew Pearson of Amory and Cody Pearson of the home; three grandchildren, McKayla Ginn, Shae Ginn and R. J. Ginn; one sister, Kay Reed (Gary) of Shannon; two brothers, Kevin Coker (Alisha) of Shannon and James Coker of Tupelo and her father, Melvin Coker. She was preceded in death by two children, Brady and Caleb Pearson; her mother, Margaret Coker; her brother, Eddie Coker; and her grandparents. Pallbearers will be Tony Dabbs, Joseph Whitlow, Jeff Pearson, Chris Blaylock, Michael Coker, Trey Weaver, Trey Dent, and Joey Elliott. Visitation will be 5 - 9 p.m. Sunday, August 23, 2015 at W. E.
